Tulips and Cornflowers
We have tulips again this weekend along with our fist cutting of cornflowers. The first few cornflowers of the season are the leading edge of a rush of spring flowers that is gathering in the field. It's past the average last frost date now and our spring flowers are enjoying the mild weather.
Rows of cornflowers, larkspur, saponaria, bupleurum, baptisia, peonies, dianthus and more are growing fast and beginning to swell with flower buds. They'll be bursting into bloom over the next few weeks.
See you this Saturday at the Bardstown Road Farmers Market!
