Bouquet of the Week
June 16, 2017
Sunflowers, Zinnias, Rudbeckia, Feverfew, Bupleurum, Statice, Dianthus, Crocosmia
Join us this Saturday to enjoy all of the bold summer flowers that are blooming now on our farm. We've got lots of sunflowers for the market, zinnias, rudbeckia, cosmos, feverfew, crocosmia, lilies, and more. It's a riot of color in the field and in the bucket!
Black-Eyed Susans (Rudbeckia)
Black-Eyed Susans are a quintessential American prairie wildflower, bright and sunny with a rustic charm. Their cheery golden yellow blooms are a symbol of domestic warmth and casual comfort. They are surprisingly long-lasting cut flowers that will warm your home for many many long summer days.
We cut Rudbeckia for about a month in the early summer. Look for them in bouquets and in bunches at the Bardstown Road Farmers Market this weekend.
See you there!
