Liatris (gayfeather)

harvest season: July - August
vase life: 1 week+

Liatris, also known as  gayfeather or blazing star, is a native wildflower, with numerous different species brightening the summertime meadows and prairies of North America with their purple flowers. They're one of the many native American wildflowers that have been lovingly improved by plant breeders for their ornamental value.

We grow white and purple liatris that flowers in the summertime with massive columns of tightly clustered feathery flowers blooming from the top downward.
